Collin Hamlin was born in 1996 in Colorado. Coming from a family of musicians and engineers, he spent the early years of his life captivated by the science-fiction and fantasy media of his youth. Taking particular interest in the wonder of inspiring new worlds brought to life by creative character design, story, and animation. He was particularly interested in the creative and functional packaging of toys, and how their art was often more engaging than the toys themselves. Swirling together, it all sparked a deep and profound love of art and design, setting him on a lifetime journey to create works of his own, and share that same wonder with others!
Over the years, Collin would go on to practice and train in the visual arts, inspired to pursue the way of the pen. He even explored creative-writing and story development as well, determined to make his own tales for others to enjoy. When he entered Community College, and later University, he would train extensively in Typography, Illustration, and Animation. His love of creative packaging and printed works coalesced into a love for design and making products come together in a way that was not only functional, but visually captivating as well. Around this time, he also delved into Electronic Art and New Media Art, gaining a passion for video production, 3D modeling, costume design, performance, and voice acting.
